Vol. 109 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cork National School.

asked the Minister for Education if he will state the causes of the delay in erecting the national school at Beeing, Mallow, County Cork.

My Department has been in correspondence with the manager for some time past with a view to the erection of a new school to replace the present Clashbee National School, Beeing, Mallow, County Cork, but certain arrangements have still to be made as regards the provision of a water supply for the new school and the production of evidence of title to the site before a grant can be sanctioned from State funds towards the cost of the new school. Every effort will be made to have the case expedited, with a view to enabling a grant to be sanctioned and the erection of the new school to be proceeded with as soon as possible.
