Proceedings have been instituted by the Land Commission for the resumption of portion, containing 357 acres, of the holding of Mr. Christopher G. Crofts at Velvetstown, Buttevant, County Cork. A petition against the proposed resumption has been lodged by the tenant and will be listed for hearing before the court of the Land Commission.
