The cottages will be in groups and will be situated in the vicinity of towns and villages which have water and sewerage services. When reasonable progress has been made with the groups of cottages mentioned, it is intended to formulate a scheme for the provision of rural cottages which according to the 1943 survey are needed to the number of 620. The rural housing scheme will include suitable provision for the north-west part of the county. The carrying out of the schemes will depend on securing tenders at reasonable prices.
