Vol. 111 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Douglas Water Supply.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is now in a position to say when the Donnybrooke, Douglas, County Cork, water supply scheme, which was sanctioned by his Department last year, will be proceeded with.

Mr. Murphy

The difficulties to which I referred in the answer which I gave to the Deputy's question of the 13th ultimo in regard to this scheme still remain, but in the meantime I have asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce to make representations to the British authorities with a view to expediting deliveries of pipes needed for schemes such as this.

Where were the pipes got for Butlin's camp?

Mr. Murphy

That is a matter about which I have no information.

No information—on this side of the House.
