Vol. 111 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Enniscorthy County Home.

asked the Minister for Health whether, in view of the fact that the porter at the County Home, Enniscorthy, has to remain on duty for continuous periods of 24 hours and, also, must remain in the Home after 9 p.m., he will have this man's conditions of service examined with a view to their improvement.

The conditions of service of the porter at the County Home, Enniscorthy, are matters for the county manager in the first instance. If the porter is aggrieved by a decision of the manager in relation to his duties, remuneration, or conditions of service he can appeal to me in accordance with the provisions of Section 10 of the Local Government Act, 1941.
