asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the number of council cottages in County Dublin which (a) have been repaired in the last two years, and (b) have been reported to the local authority as being in need of repair but have not yet been repaired.

I understand from the Dublin County Council that repairs have been carried out at the rate of 70 cottages a month on the average for the last two years, and that at present some 50 to 60 cottages are awaiting repairs. These will receive early attention.
