Vol. 112 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Proposed County Kerry Fountain.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware of the necessity for a fountain at Aunigarry Cross, County Kerry; and, if so, whether in view of the fact that a fountain could be erected at a minimum cost by connecting it with the Killorglin water scheme, a distance of a few yards, he will ensure that a fountain is erected there at an early date and thereby obviate the necessity for the people of Aunigarry and the adjoining townlands having to travel long distances for water.

Mr. Murphy

This is a matter in the first instance for the local authority, from whom I have received no proposal.
