Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Beds for Tuberculosis Patients.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state the number of beds made available for tuberculosis patients in 1947 additional to those provided in the year 1931-32 by all local authorities and in voluntary hospitals and institutions.

During the period in question, approximately 480 additional beds were provided in tuberculosis institutions operated by local authorities. The corresponding figure for other tuberculosis institutions was approximately 300.
