Vol. 112 No. 5

Written Answers to Questions. - Reopening of Branch Line.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will cause the whole question of transport and other facilities for the town of Banagher, Offaly, to be reconsidered with special regard to the possibility of reopening the railway branch line, Clara-Banagher, for passengers, live stock, etc.

I would refer the Deputy to the reply given by me to a similar question on the 7th July, in which I indicated the present position in regard to the Clara-Banagher and other branch railway lines.
