A public telephone will be installed at Gneeveguilla as part of the scheme to provide such facilities at all post offices. Work on the scheme, however, has had to be suspended temporarily in favour of more urgent work, particularly the provision of telephones for waiting applicants, and accordingly it is not possible to say at present when the installation will be carried out at Gneeveguilla.
