Vol. 113 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Irish “Remount Farm.”

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state what steps have been, or are about to be, taken with a view to making the "Remount Farm", Lusk, County Dublin, available to the Land Commission for division.

Before the property in question could be transferred to the Land Commission legislation to amend the State Lands Act, 1924, would have to be enacted. Such legislation is at present under consideration.

Would the Minister state the approximate date when such legislation would be introduced?

Before the Dáil rises for Christmas if at all possible.
