Vol. 113 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Capital Punishment.

asked the Minister for Justice if he has considered the matter of the abolition of the death penalty and if he intends to introduce proposals for legislation to abolish the death penalty for murder.

As I stated in reply to a question on the 5th of May last, I have considered this matter, but I do not propose to recommend any change in the law.
