Vol. 113 No. 6

Intoxicating Liquor Bill (No. 2), 1948—First Stage.

Leave granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to amend the Licensing Acts, 1833 to 1943, and the Registration of Clubs Acts, 1904 to 1927, so as to prohibit generally the sale of intoxicating liquor on Sunday.—(Deputy Corry).
Second Stage ordered for Friday, 3rd December.

Could it be indicated what business will be taken when Private Members' time is reached?

I think Deputy Cogan's Land Bill is first on the list. Deputy Corry's Bill is being put down provisionally for Friday.

So long as they will close for Christmas, it will be all right.
