Vol. 114 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Replanting of Mayo Wood.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that the Land Commission are about to cut down a small wood at Greenwood, Bekan, Co. Mayo, and divide the land amongst the local people and that these people are very anxious to have this ground replanted as it has no other value; and, if so, whether he will proceed to have this replanting done when the timber in question is cut down.

The disposal of small plantations at Greenwood is at present under consideration by the Land Commission, and the Deputy's representation will be fully considered by them.
