asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the value of each harbour development grant made available during the current financial year.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 17 and 18 together.
(1) One new application for a harbour development grant has been received since the beginning of the current financial year.
(2) Two applications for dredging grants have been sanctioned since the beginning of the current financial year. The amount of the grants were £4,000 and £1,869, respectively.
(3) No applications have been refused since the beginning of the current financial year.
(4) Applications for grants for development works at 12 harbours are under consideration.
