Vol. 114 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Travelling Shops' Petrol Allowance.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he is aware that considerable inconvenience and hardship is caused to travelling shop owners and egg retailers because of the inadequacy of the allowances of petrol granted to them; and, if so, whether he will consider granting supplementary allowances to these people.

Travelling shop owners and egg retailers who can show need for supplementary allowances of petrol may obtain them on application to my Department. All reasonable demands will be met.
