With the collaboration of the Central Statistics Office, it is intended to resume the compilation of national income and expenditure statistics as soon as possible. It is unlikely, however, on account of the difficulties of finding suitable staff for the work and of reorganising the statistical services of the State, that the next issue of the White Paper will appear during the present year.
