Vol. 114 No. 13

Order of Business.

Business will be taken in the following order:— No. 1, Votes 63 and 64; then items Nos. 7, 8 and 3. If there is no objection it is proposed to bring forward immediately after No. 1 the Defence Forces Pensions (Amendment) Bill, 1949, which was to be considered to-morrow. It is further proposed that consideration of Government Business be not interrupted to-day at the time fixed for the taking of Private Deputies' Business.

The Defence Forces Bill will be taken after Vote 63 or 64?

Immediately after Vote 64 has been disposed of.

I take it then that the order for to-morrow is discharged and that the Bill may be taken to-day?

That is assuming we reach the Defence Forces Bill to-day. If not, the order for to-morrow remains.
