asked the Minister for Justice if he will state the precise nature of the difficulties preventing the introduction of proposals for legislation dealing with the legal adoption of children, and if he will (a) inform the Dáil whether he has discussed these difficulties with any society propagating legal adoption, and (b) if he has not done so, whether he is now prepared to discuss these difficulties with the Adoption Society (Ireland).
