Vol. 114 No. 16

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Wexford Transport Services.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he is aware that the train and bus services from Dublin to Rosslare at present leave at 5 p.m. and that people from the country get very little time to do business in the city and people living in the city cannot go home for the week-end; and, if so, whether he will arrange with Córas Iompair Éireann for the train and bus to leave at 6.30 or 7 p.m.

I am informed by Córas Iompair Éireann that they propose, as from the end of May, to postpone to 6.15 p.m. the time of departure from Dublin of the evening train to Rosslare.

There is no evening bus service from Dublin to Rosslare.
