Vol. 114 No. 16

A Deputy's Speech.

Before the Order of Business is taken, I want to raise a matter of importance to myself as a Deputy.

It depends on the matter. I should have some notice of this.

Do you not think that I should have had some notice?

There was nothing in it.

Yesterday, on the Local Authorities (Works) Bill, 1949, I made a contribution of some length— it was not too lengthy, but it was of some length. Now, the fact that I spoke here yesterday was not reported in the Irish Press to-day.

Order of Business.

Captain Cowan rose.

The Deputy must resume his seat.

Make the speech again.

You are all so over joyed at the return of the prodigal.

I think that the intervention was frivolous, to say the least of it.
