asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if a decision has been taken not to place any further contracts for the completion of the Córas Iompair Éireann bus depot at Store Street; and, if so, whether this means that the building is not to be completed this year.

I am informed by Córas Iompair Éireann that such a decision has not been taken as the work is so far advanced that there is no alternative but to proceed towards completion. In regard to the completion date, I would refer the Deputy to the reply which I gave to a question in Dáil Éireann on the 2nd March last.
