The Land Commission have not acquired the lands referred to.

It is not possible to make a reasonably accurate forecaat in this case.

asked the Minister for Lands if the lands of Tullyallen, Maghercloone, County Monaghan, have been acquired by the Land Commission for distribution amongst the uneconomic holders in the area.

The answer is "no."

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission is aware that the Dillon estate, Fearmore, Walderstown, Athlone, may shortly be sold and whether it has now been decided to acquire the lands in question.

It is hoped that a decision by the Land Commission on the acquisition of these lands will be made at an early date. Whether the lands are being offered for sale or not will not in any way affect consideration of their acquisition.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission are prepared to consider the advisability of acquiring the Macken lands (non-residential) situated in Keeloges, County Roscommon (near Athlone), for the purpose of relieving congestion in the locality.

The Land Commission have had inquiries made regarding these lands and have decided to take no further action at present towards their acquisition.
