Vol. 115 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Civil Service Pensions.

asked the Minister for Finance if consideration has yet been given to the question of introducing a pension scheme for non-established officers of the Civil Service; and, if not, whether he will arrange to have the matter considered at an early date.

I have given considerable thought to this matter and I am not prepared at the present juncture to sponsor any concession of this kind in view of the heavy additional expenditure which it would entail.
