Grants are available under the farm buildings scheme for the works mentioned by the Deputy. My Department is already dealing with some 38,000 applications for grants of one kind or another under that scheme and applications continue to come in at a substantial rate. I do not propose further to advertise the scheme until substantial progress has been made in disposing of the applications already made; in the meantime new applications continue to reach the Department at a rate of about 200 per week.
