Committee on Finance. - Vote 2—Houses of the Oireachtas.

Mr. McGilligan

I move:—

That a sum not exceeding £120,630 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending the 31st day of March, 1950, for the Salaries and Expenses of the Houses of the Oireachtas, including certain Grants-in-Aid.

All these matters were open for discussion on the main Estimate.

——When he expects that the work being carried out in front of Leinster House will be completed? It has been going on for a very long time.

By 1st August, we hope.
