Vol. 117 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Proposed Mitchelstown Hospital.

asked the Minister for Health whether he is prepared to sanction the building of a hospital in Mitchelstown as decided on by the North Cork Health and Public Assistance Committee.

I am prepared to agree to the building of a district hospital at either Mitchelstown or Ráth Luire. I have received a copy of a resolution passed recently by the Cork County Council Northern Committee that the hospital be built at the former place, and I have asked the Cork County Council for their proposals for the siting of the hospital, the appointment of an architect, and the accommodation to be provided.
