Vol. 117 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry Look-out Stations.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware of the necessity for equipping and manning the look-out stations at Bolus Head, Ballinskellings and Bray Head, Valentia Island, for the greater protection and safety of fishermen; and if a decision has yet been reached for the carrying out of the scheme.

There is nothing which I can usefully add to the reply which I gave to the Deputy's similar question of 16th December last when I indicated that the organisation of the Coast Life Saving Service is kept under review and that his representations would be borne in mind in considering the operation of the service in County Kerry.
