Vol. 118 No. 1

Sittings of the Dáil—Motion.

I move:—

That the resolution (Sittings of the Dáil) of 4th May, 1948, be rescinded, and that the hours of adjournment and interruption of business on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays be as set out in Standing Order 20.

Motion agreed to. Ordered accordingly.

Deputies will understand, therefore, that any matter raised on the adjournment will be discussed from 10.30 to 11, Government time being no longer given for such discussion, as has been the custom for a few years. On the adjournment to-night at 10.30, the subject matter of Question No. 17 will be raised by Deputy Dunne. Notice was also given that the subject matter of another question would be raised but, in that case, I do not know that the Minister had any responsibility in the matter. He might have acted but he had no responsibility.
