Vol. 118 No. 9

Questions on the Adjournment.

May I have an assurance that my request for permission to raise the subject matter of Question No. 25 on the Order Paper will be considered?

It will be considered and the decision will be conveyed to the Deputy.

I merely wanted to ensure that Deputy MacEntee's running commentary did not prevent the Chair from hearing the request.

I also have asked for permission in respect of Question No. 23.

In respect of Questions Nos. 23, 25 and 48 such application has been made. The matter will be considered and the decisions will be conveyed to the Deputies.

On 9th November I proposed with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle to raise a certain matter on the Adjournment, for which the Minister for Finance was responsible. At the Minister's request, I agreed to postpone the raising of that matter. I now renew my application.

A decision will be conveyed to the Deputy.
