Vol. 118 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Drinagh Cement Factory.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether, in view of the existing shortage of home-manufactured cement, he will consider the advisability of reopening the cement factory at Drinagh, County Wexford, which ceased to operate some years ago.

As I stated in a reply to a question addressed to me on the 16th November, 1949, I am examining the problem of establishing additional cement factories. In the course of that examination, the question of reopening the old cement factory at Drinagh will be taken into consideration.
