Vol. 118 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Mayo Estates.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state when the Land Commission intend to stripe and rearrange the holdings on the McCormick estate, near Belmullet.

There has been no change in the position since my reply to the Deputy's question of 24th May last regarding this case.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state when the Land Commission intend to rearrange the holdings on the Carson estate, Muingnabo, County Mayo.

It is not possible to state whether or when the proposed rearrangement of these holdings can be carried out as one of the tenants refuses to join in the scheme.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will now state when the Land Commission intend to stripe the Carson Woods estate, Iallagh, Belmullet, County Mayo, and whether it will be in the possession of the tenants before next March, for next season's tillage.

It is not possible to state when the Land Commission will be in a position to allot the holding in question but it is unlikely that allotment will take place before next March.
