Vol. 119 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Forestry Workers.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Government have discussed and decided on a scheme for improved conditions for forestry workers, and whether the question of granting holidays with pay in respect of all Church holidays to forestry workers has been reconsidered during these discussions.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is yet in a position to state whether forestry workers will receive an increase in wages; and, if so, if he will state the amount of the increase.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I will take together Questions Nos. 21 and 22.

I hope to make an announcement in the coming week on the matters raised by the Deputies.
