Vol. 119 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Road Workers' Protective Clothing.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state (a) the present practice in regard to the provision of protective clothing for road workers, and (b) the number of counties where free clothing is provided for (i) tarring; (ii) stone crushing, and (iii) all road work.

Protective clothing is provided for road workers by all county councils and county borough councils, but to ascertain the detailed information sought by the Deputy will entail making inquiries of the local authorities. This information will be forwarded to the Deputy when it is available.
