Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sale of Eggs and Milk.

asked the Taoiseach if he will state (a) the quantity of eggs acquired by registered wholesalers, and (b) the quantity of milk acquired for sale in Dublin and Cork milk sales districts, in the second half of the years 1948 and 1949.

(a) The quantity of eggs acquired by registered wholesalers from registered dealers and producers in the second half of the years 1948 and 1949 was 997,000 and 1,122,000 great hundreds respectively. (b) The quantity of milk sold or acquired for sale in Dublin and Cork milk sales districts in the second half of the years 1948 and 1949 was 11,729,000 and 12,298,000 gallons respectively.
