Vol. 120 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Payment by County Cork Local Authority.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that payment has not yet been made for plots of land compulsorily acquired for building purposes by the local authority in County Cork, even where the price has been agreed to by the purchaser and the vendor, that possession of the plots was taken a considerable time ago, and if he will request the local authority in question to pay the amounts due without further delay.

I understand that payment has not yet been made for certain plots of land compulsorily acquired for building purposes in County Cork, and I am requesting the local authority to take the steps necessary towards payment where agreement on price has been reached, and where title has been established.
