Vol. 120 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions Oral Answers. - Price of Milk for Creamery Suppliers.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether he is yet in a position to inform creamery suppliers what price they may expect for milk for the coming 12 months.

There is nothing I can usefully add to the replies on this subject which I gave to Deputy Cogan on the 29th March and Deputy Maguire on the 30th March.

Are the creamery suppliers to be left in the continued state of doubt they are in at the moment, as to what the position is to be for the coming year? Would the Minister say anything to clarify the position?

I do not think I could say anything to clarify the position more fully than it has been clarified in the two answers to Deputies to which I have referred.

That is hedging.
