Vol. 121 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - New Post Offices.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether it is his intention to have a new sub-post office opened at Kilmurvey, Aran Islands; and, if so, when.

The establishment of a sub-post office at Kilmurvey has been authorised, and the office will be opened as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is in a position to state when work will start on the reconstruction of a house purchased by his Department for use as a new post office in Charleville, County Cork.

Planning of the scheme for a new post office and telephone exchange at Rathluirc is in progress. I am not yet in a position to forecast a date for commencement of the building work.
