A survey of dispensary districts throughout the country generally was initiated in July, 1947. It was completed in December, 1948. As indicated in reply to a question by the Deputy in December last it would be premature to convey the recommendations to the local authorities concerned pending final decisions on certain detailed aspects of the proposals for the expansion of the health services.
