Vol. 122 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry Turbary.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware that turbary rights were reserved for a number of tenants in the townlands of Leamaglassane, Knockrour East, etc., Kenmare Estate, Scartaglin, County Kerry, but that plots have not yet been allocated to those tenants nor has the bog been developed, and if he will take the necessary steps to have the claim expedited.

It is expected that the division of the outstanding part of the Kenmare Trust Bog will be completed in the near future. When this is done, the Land Commission will undertake the allotment of other bogs in the area which are the subject of proceedings and which may come into their possession.
