asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state with reference to his answer to a question on 18th July, 1950, whether the alternative method of treating the effluent from the Cappawhite, County Tipperary, sewerage scheme has been approved by the Tipperary S.R. County Council, and if this alternative method has not been approved, whether it is still under consideration and when a decision is likely to be reached.

Revised proposals for an alternative method of treatment of the effluent from the proposed Cappawhite sewerage scheme were submitted by the county council in September, 1950, and have been approved. Contract documents for the scheme are now awaited.
