Vol. 123 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Regional Sanatorium.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state (1) what stage has been reached in the erection of the proposed regional sanatorium at Blanchardstown, County Dublin; (2) when work upon the buildings will begin, and (3) the approximate date upon which it is expected the sanatorium will be completed.

Site development works at the Dublin regional sanatorium, Blanchardstown, County Dublin, have been completed. The first stage of building works, namely, foundations, under-building and incidental works, commenced on 25th September, 1950, and is due for completion on 17th September, 1951. As it is intended to have the building of the superstructure carried out under a separate contract on the completion of the works now in progress, it would not be possible at this stage to give a firm estimate as to the completion date for the whole undertaking.
