A site has been offered for a new school to replace the existing Sonna National School, and it is hoped that a report as to its suitability will be available shortly.
If the proposed site is found to be suitable, there will be other necessary preliminaries to be completed before the Department will be in a position to consider the question of sanctioning a grant towards the cost of the erection of the new school.
