Vol. 123 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cleaning of River Loo.

Pádraig Ó Cuinneáin

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he is aware that the River Loo, in the parish of Glenflesk, County Kerry, was diverted from its original course for a distance of about 400 yards about 55 years ago by the former Great Southern Railways Company and, as this river was not cleaned by the company for the past 30 years, if he will recommend to Córas Iompair Éireann that it be cleaned immediately.

That is not a matter in which the Minister for Industry and Commerce has any statutory function.
