As indicated in reply to a question by the Deputy in June last, the survey of dispensary districts throughout the country was completed in December, 1948. Examination of the survey reports has also been completed by my Department. The Deputy was also informed in replies to questions in December, 1949, and June last that it would be premature to convey the recommendations to the local authorities concerned pending final decisions on certain detailed aspects of the proposals for the expansion of health services.
