asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the reason for the delay in the transfer of the site for the proposed new vocational school in Dunmore from the local trustee to the County Galway Vocational Education Committee, and whether, in view of the fact that the long delay has caused the holding up of the committee's school building programme, he will take immediate steps to expedite the matter.

The site in question forms part of a holding held under a trust scheme. The application for consent to a transfer of the site could not be considered until the Land Act, 1950, came into force. The application has been granted and the trustees have been so informed.
