Vol. 123 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Fuel Supplies.

asked the Minister for Lands if, in view of the shortage of fuel generally in rural areas, due to the recent wet season, he will consider the provision as far as practicable of timber from the various State forests in the country for fuel purposes.

There is very little firewood timber in the State forests, but whenever any such timber becomes available in the ordinary course, it is disposed of as quickly as possible.
