Vol. 123 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Laoighis Plantations.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will consider planting with suitable plants all the waste bogland in the district of Mountmellick, County Laoighis, in view of the very large area of useless cut-away bogland in that area.

No offers of plantable cut-away bog in the Mountmellick district have been received in recent years. If the Deputy is aware of any areas that are suitable and available for afforestation, I would be glad if he would furnish me with particulars.

I will, indeed.

Very kind of you.
