The report on mineral resources made to me by Mr. Ladoo is at present under examination by the Industrial Development Authority and a decision as to whether the report will be published has not yet been taken.
Is the Parliamentary Secretary aware that an answer was given in this House before that this report was being approved by the Government? Are we to understand now that it has been passed from the Government to the Industrial Development Authority?
It is a very lengthy report and has not yet reached the Government. It is under examination by the Industrial Development Authority which has not yet concluded its examination of it.
Is it not a fact that the report was presented last July?
No. It was presented on the 18th September, 1950.
It must have been delayed in the Department of Posts and Telegraphs.
It was held up in Baltinglass.
