Vol. 124 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - British Propaganda.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware that the management of a Dublin branch of a British tobacco company make a practice of distributing amongst their employees illustrated booklets containing British and pro-partition propaganda, the matter of which is in some instances insulting to nationallyminded Irish workers; and, if so, whether he will take such steps as are necessary to ensure that the hospitality afforded to foreign manufacturers will not be abused in this fashion.

I am not aware of the practice referred to. If the Deputy will furnish me with full particulars I will have the matter considered.
